Comentário: "Blue Sunshine" foi o primeiro e único album da super banda britanica The Glove, foi inicialmente lançado em 1983. este álbum serviu principalmente como uma diversão para Robert Smith e Steve Severin quando ambos estavam sob stress pesado em suas respectivas bandas, The cure e Siouxsie and the Banshees. Desde que Smith foi proibido de cantar em outras bandas por sua gravadora, ele e Severin chamaram Jeanette Landray, namorada do batera do Banshees Budgie na época pra cantar a maioria das faixas no lançamento original; Smith apenas cantou em "Mr. Alphabet Says" e "Perfect Murder".
Outros musicos envolvidos nesse projeto foram Andy Anderson (que mais tarde integrou o Cure) e Martin McCarrick(que mais tarde integrou o Siouxsie).

Em 2006 esse album foi digitalmente remasterizado e relançado pela Rhino Records, apresentando um dicos de bonus onde Robert Smith faz todos os vocais em versões demo, no lugar de Landray.
