Comentário: Apresenta-me um indivíduo que pire nessa bagaça de Dark Eletrônico que não goste/tenha gostado de Blutengel! Do mesmo modo, mostra-me um site de download de música dark que não tenha no mínimo um álbum da banda... É fato que todo mundo já achou/acha o Chris Pohl bonito, ou já pirou/pira nas performances que acontecem durante os shows. Até os mais “puros-sangues” possuem um passado que, em algum momento, envolveu Blutengel − que eu sei...
Não tem jeito: Blutengel é o pop, o feijão-com-arroz, o clichê o Iron Maiden do meio Dark Eletrônico!

A banda foi fundada em 1998 pelo Chris Pohl, quem teve problemas contratuais com seu antigo grupo, o tal do “Seelenkrank”. Conquanto a banda, de algum modo, tenha permanecido uns bons sei-lá-quantos-anos com a mesma formação, esta mudou bastante. Logo no início, quando Blutengel ainda era um espermatozóide caminhando para vagina do mundo, a vocalista Nina Bendigkeit foi a primeira a pedir arrego em 2000. Depois vieram as duaszinhas do Tristesse de La Lune (Katie Roloff e Gini Martin, esta última que entrou para ficar no lugar de Nina) em 2001. Em 2004, foi a vez de Eva Pölzing pedir para sair (ela havia entrado no lugar de Gini). E por último, em 2010, Constance Rudert deixou a banda para se dedicar ao seu projeto cute-cute/hellokittiano , o Cinderella Effect. Ou seja, o único sobrevivente da formação original é o próprio Chris Pohl (irônico, né?!).

A palavra “Blutengel” significa Anjo de Sangue e a característica mais marcante da banda é o embasamento vampírico das músicas, das roupas e tudo mais. E ainda adotando a concepção de que o vampiro é um ser amaldiçoado que fez um pacto com o diabo (Lúcifer). No entanto, tal pacto é visto de forma positiva (imortalidade, beleza e força) e, a partir disto, persuasiva...

Beauty and Delight

A sonoridade de Blutengel permanece na escuridão, onde o mais dançante e alegre tende para uma festa ala Blade II. Há o abuso de duos femininos e sobrepujantes vocais masculinos (limpos), sobreposição vocal e sonora que por vezes, para no fim encontrarem a harmonia, estão em tempos diferentes. Desta forma, a construção musical de Blutengel está nos detalhes: são tonalidades vocais mais firmes, em determinado momento, ou a breve galhofagem-solo eletrônica ou teclados, e por aí vai.

Particularmente, Blutengel teve um papel catalisador e integrante de suma importância em minha vida, em dois momentos principais: Em meados de 2007, quando ouvi pela primeira vez a banda, da qual era “classificada” como EBM/Industrial, e vendo isto comecei a procurar mais sobre esses gêneros que, até então, desconhecia. E, no final de 2008, quando, na minha ânsia por mais álbuns da banda, acabei vindo parar aqui... O resto da história você já conhece!

Obs: Para quem já tentou, sabe que o difícil não é encontrar a discografia do Blutengel, e sim encontrá-la completa. Eu realmente pesquisei muito e me baseei no site da banda para chegar até aqui; porém, se estiver faltando algum álbum, é só falar que retorno às minhas pesquisas.
