Biografia: Keep of Kalessin é uma banda de black metal vinda de Trondheim, Noruega formada em 1993. No inicio da banda o lineup consistia em Ghash nos vocais, Obsidian C. guitarras e teclados, Warach no baixo e Vyl na bateria. A banda Lançou 2 albuns com este Lineup, Through Times of War em 1997 e Agnen A Journey Through the Dark em 1999.

Em 2006 a banda foi reconstituída o com um novo lineup e lançou um terceiro full-length, Armada. Seguiram-se atuações as bandas Behemoth e Dimmu Borgir no início de 2008. O seu quarto álbum Kolossus foi lançado em 6 de junho de 2008.
